Andrea V Hill, MD

Pediatrician and Ringside Physician

Dr. Andrea Hill received her Bachelor degree from the University of Kentucky and graduated from Texas A&M University College of Medicine in 1999. After completing her residency in 2002, she moved to Walton County, Georgia where she founded Monroe Pediatrics, Inc. In 2012 she completed an MBA from Auburn University. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Association of Ringside Physicians (ARP) and sits on the Board of Directors of the ARP. She has worked countless amateur USA boxing events, including Golden Gloves, as well as fights with the IKF, the ISKA, and the UFC. She has appeared on NBC Sports, Showtime and ESPN+ working for various organizations such as Mayweather Productions and the UFC. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at The Medical College of Georgia as well as The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

In 2016, she lost her husband, Tim, a retired pro MMA and Muay Thai fighter to suicide. Subsequent to his death he was diagnosed with Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. As a result, Dr. Hill honed her skills as one of the few female ringside physicians in the world, on a professional level, and has developed special interests in both sports concussion management and mental health.

In spite of how busy her work activities keep her, she finds plenty of time to enjoy gardening and raising her daughters to be strong women, because she believes the world needs more of them. She is passionate about improving safety, not just for others but for her own daughters, while still passing her love of these sports on to her children.
